The society sold quilt raffle tickets and also provided information about grants it offers to cancer patients needing help with treatment. They received a certificate, a tote bag, a selection of Alaska Flour Company products, a bag of salad greens, some rhubarb, and several Sitka Farmers Market special label chocolate bars. National Famrmers Market Week is Aug. 4-10, and the next Sitka Farmers Market is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Alaska Native Brotherhood Founders Hall (235 Katlian Street).
