Rock and Charlene sold jalapeno-pepper-flavored apricot jam. They received a certificate, a tote bag, a selection of Alaska Flour Company products, an Alaska Farmers Markets Cookbook, some produce, and Sitka Farmers Market special label chocolate bars. National Farmers Market Week was Aug. 4-10, and this was part of the celebration. The next Sitka Farmers Market is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, at the Alaska Native Brotherhood Founders Hall (235 Katlian Street).
